Our overall mission is to train-up a child in the way he should go, so that when he is old, he will not depart from it. This includes teaching and modeling social, emotional, relational, physical, spiritual, and academic lessons to grow the whole child.

Lead Elementary
Karen has been working in education since the age of 21, beginning her career teaching a kindergarten class at a Christian school in Freehold, New Jersey while attending college. She has continued to support both students and adults through tutoring in reading and math, building strong foundational skills across a range of learners. Karen also spent five years working as a paraprofessional in a Title I math program, supporting at-risk students and helping them grow in confidence and ability. She is currently continuing her education at Grand Canyon University, pursuing a Master’s Degree in Education.
Karen values the freedom and creativity at Global Beacon School, where she enjoys exploring new ideas, integrating curriculum across subjects, and engaging students through hands-on learning experiences.
Lead Middle and Highschool
Holly holds a Bachelor of Arts in Music from LaGrange College and is currently finishing her M.M.E. at the University of Florida. With seven years of experience teaching in both public and private school settings, she is dedicated to nurturing musicianship in students of all ages. In addition to teaching, she regularly performs with professional organizations such as Pensacola Opera, allowing her to stay actively engaged in performance and keep her skills sharp. Her dual passion for teaching and performing enriches her classroom, bringing real-world musical experience to her students.

Charlee holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology, with a concentration in Education from California Coast University, and currently teaches upper elementary, middle, and high school science instruction. She brings over 12 years of experience in education, having taught in both public and private school settings. Charlee is passionate about building meaningful relationships with her students and believes that learning thrives in a supportive community. As a dedicated mother of two, she extends the same care and commitment to every child in her classroom.

Melissa is a part time instructor at Global Beacon and holds an Associate of Arts degree in Early Childhood Education from Northwest Florida State College. She specializes in early childhood development and is dedicated to supporting young learners as they build strong academic, social, and emotional foundations. Melissa’s nurturing approach helps create a positive and engaging classroom environment where students feel safe, supported, and encouraged to grow.
